Welcome to the wacky, wonder-filled world of larrikinism: the Aussie Thong Family — a Red Dog Bites creation of irreverence, complete disregard for pretension and propriety, all with a self-deprecating humour.

The Aussie Thong Family embody all that is great about the Australian psyche and Aussie lifestyle. They are in full bloom of glorious eccentricity going about reclaiming and celebrating the Aussie spirit. They also capture a reassuring sense of belonging and the spark of pioneering that runs in our veins.

The Aussie Thong Family has buckets of uniqueness and individualism which is simply so very Australian. And no points for guessing what they wear on their feet!

You will see them everywhere — as life size costume characters, on clothing, linen, mugs and gifts, to downloads, music, website and TV and animation. So be sure to give them the thumbs up, which is exactly what they would do if they met you.

Brief

The boys (Keith and Tristan) of Red Dog Bites wanted a site that captured the fun of the concept, used all of the multimedia that they had at their disposal, and left visitors (and investors) wanting more!

We were given complete freedom to develop the site and pack it with ideas and toys — we even got to design the town. Key features are:

This project was a huge amount of fun and was a key part of their arsenal to securing further development of the animation series.
